What happens after submitting your track to Beyond Lights?

1. Track Review:

Within 7 days of submission, our team thoroughly reviews your track to assess its compatibility with Beyond Lights’ style and vision.

2. Contract Offer:

If your track fits our criteria, we’ll offer you a contract specifically tailored to the submitted track, album, or EP. This ensures you’re not obligated beyond the scope of your submission.

3. Cover Design:

Upon contract signing, we’ll begin crafting a visually stunning cover design that captures the essence of your music.

4. Distribution:

Your track will be distributed across major streaming platforms, ensuring it reaches a global audience.

5. Pre-release promotion:

We kickstart promotion by creating a pre-save link for your track and running paid campaigns on online platforms to build anticipation. when the release date is here, the pre-save link will lead listeners directly to their chosen platform.

6. Release promotion:

We leverage our online channels to introduce your track to our audience and engage with fans to build anticipation.

7. Collaboration with curators:

We collaborate with established curators in the music scene to amplify your track’s reach. While we can’t guarantee their endorsement, we cover the costs of these collaborations.

8. Regular updates:

Throughout the process, we provide regular updates to keep you informed and involved every step of the way.

At Beyond Lights, we believe in empowering artists. When you submit your music to us, you’re not signing your life away. Our contracts are tailored specifically to the songs, albums, or EPs you submit.

This means you retain control over your artistic journey. We’re here to support and amplify your vision, ensuring that every step of the way aligns with your goals.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload my track to other platforms before its official release date?

No, to prevent copyright infringement, we kindly ask that you refrain from uploading your track to any online platforms prior to its official release date. However, you may share previews and promos on your social media channels. We will also create these for you.

What happens if I want to release a remix of my track?

For the release of a remix, you’ll need an official statement from the original artist granting permission for its release.

How are revenue distributions handled?

Revenue distributions are divided with you receiving 60% and Beyond Lights retaining 40%. Payments will be processed through Releese. We’ll help you to set this up if you haven’t already.

How long will my release be available online?

Your release will be kept online for at least two years after signing the contract, as per our agreement.

How are collaborations with media outlets handled?

We involve artists in decisions regarding potential collaborations with media outlets. Any opportunities for partnerships with media outlets will be discussed collaboratively with you, and we will not make independent decisions without your input.
